JOB SUMMARY
Monitor training plans for persons participating in Work Experience and Situational Assessment programs. Manage individuals while on the worksite and provide training in a classroom setting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively manage and train students participating in the Work Experience program.
- Develop Individual Program Plan for each program participant.
- Create and conduct time studies and calculate productivity measures for participants in various work areas.
- Identify and create the necessary accommodations that will allow participants to complete assigned tasks.
- Complete required personnel and administrative paperwork in a timely manner
- Maintain contact with work site supervisors to monitor participant progress in work areas and identify strengths and areas of difficulty.
- Track and report information to administrative entities and family members
- Make sound decisions in dealing with the day to day activities of participants.
- Ensure participants are prepared to become employed and retain employment.
- Ensure that participant records are maintained in an organized and legible manner in accordance with Goodwill policies and procedures and CARF requirements.
- Meet or exceed performance expectations as defined in the Program Evaluation efficiency, effectiveness and satisfaction measures.
- Actively maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment that promotes the physical and emotional well-being of employees, customers, and participants.
- Meet or exceed the attendance expectations for this position.
- Other duties as assigned.
INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT & INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Associates’ Degree in a human services or related field preferred.
- Two (2) years’ experience in human services, rehabilitation or educational setting required in lieu of degree.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- First Aid/CPR Certification required
- Certified Employment Support Professional (C.E.S.P.) preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Must have strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
- Must be able to identify community resources and make appropriate recommendations.
- Must possess a thorough understanding of programming needs of participants.
- Must be able to identify necessary accommodations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Light
Lifting 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 10 pounds. Walking or standing to a significant degree, involves sitting most of the time with a degree of pushing and pulling.

Occasionally exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.)
