Technology Instructor PreK-8 Job Opening

St. John the Beloved School (PreK-8th) grade is seeking an inspired and dynamic educator who strives for personal excellence to join our team and provide a top quality education for our students. Ideal candidate will embody and advocate the School's mission and vision statements. Applicants should have classroom experience, experience integrating current educational technology trends into skills through instruction, knowledge of Google Suite Admin, Chromebooks1.1 implementation, and knowledge in organizing and running professional development workshops. Enthusiasm and a passion for educational technology is essential to the role.

Implementing and Managing the Acceptable Use Policy for students and staff while making sure all students are educated as digital citizens.

Professional Development of teachers and administration in using technology.

Instruction of gr. 4-8 teachers for the implementation of Chromebooks, Google Classroom, and use of digital tools.

Instruction of gr. PK-3 and special teachers in the implementation of technology in their classroom.

Instruction of students in Gr. PK-8 using current challenging Computer Technology skills,maintain a supportive, productive and positive learning environment that will nurture, motivate, and challenge all of our children to achieve the highest level of academic excellence.

Preparation of third grades for moving towards 1:1 technology in fourth grade, including and running a Chromebook "Boot Camp" in August for parents and students.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $23.00 to $25.00 /hour
