Responsibilities

The Technical Trainer III will be responsible for:
  • Training internal (and external) staff on the operational use and service of the IGT Advantage suite of products with a particular focus on Accounting and Floor Operations.
  • Having a working knowledge of IGT Electronic Gaming Machines (EGM’s) and peripheral products.
  • Providing technical and operational classes at customer sites, regional offices and operate as the sole resource.
  • Project managing the development of electronic training support materials.
  • Thoroughly learning new software, hardware and electronics for standard gaming and systems products and impart knowledge to a variety of adult learners.
  • Preparing and conducting training courses via methods such as instructor led training (ILT), Train-the-Trainer (TTT), on the job training (OJT) and virtual instructor led training online (VILT).
  • Collaborating with Course Development and Product Development staff in the research and development of support materials and courses.
  • Participating in special projects that have a clear link or benefit to training, as assigned.
  • Performing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    This position may require up to 75-85% domestic and some international travel.
    May be required to lift computer/training equipment up to 40lbs

Qualifications

  • 5+ years minimum technical casino experience required in supporting Slot Accounting with the use of Advantage Machine Accounting and EZ Pay system.
  • Bachelor degree (or higher) required in computer sciences or instructional techniques
  • Experience with VMware desired.
  • Technical aptitude and professional presentation skills required.
  • On-line training experience desired.
  • Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of successful experience training adult learners in technical areas and systems.
  • Excellent working knowledge of computers and networking preferred.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Team Player and possess the ability to work independently, multi-task and within high performing teams.
  • Experience with IGT products, IGT Machines, other vendor EGM’s mandatory.
  • Experience developing and using digital training materials.
