The Department of Counselor, Leadership, and Special Education at Auburn University at Montgomery invites applications for a tenure track position in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the Assistant/Associate Professor level to begin Fall 2019.

Applicants must have an earned doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with preference given to graduates of CACREP programs. Experience in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, teaching at the university level, license eligibility in Alabama, and a documented commitment to research and professional organization involvement are required.

Responsibilities will include teaching core counselor education courses, supervising practicum and internship students, engaging in research and publication at a level consistent with graduate teaching status, self-study activities, and service at the university, college, departmental and community levels.
