Work Shift:
ALL SHIFT (United States of America)This position is responsible for overseeing the Process Safety Management program while maintaining a safe work environment while adhering to Tyson polices and procedures.
Job Summary.
Plan and oversee the execution of the Process Safety Management Program to ensure compliance with OSHA and Tyson
PSM program requirements.
Insure the facility uses PSM guidelines and Tyson PSM Manuals for operating, maintaining, training and installation of new equipment.
Write and maintain relevant reports, records and refrigeration SOPs records for the PSM Program.
Provide training and instruction on the use of personal protective equipment, Hazmat operations and Tyson safety policies.
Facilitate monthly PSM safety meetings and Hazmat Team Training.
Other duties as assigned.
Must be competent in Windows based software including Excel, Word, Auto CAD Drawing and SAP and have ability to create queries and reports.
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with hourly TM’s, management, government officials and vendors.
Must have strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
Requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years documented experience in operation and maintenance of Refrigeration Systems .
- Must be able to demonstrate thorough understanding of refrigeration cycles.
- Education beyond high school or GED level preferred including, but not limited to, special training, certification programs,
vocational school, military training, and/or college courses.
- Certifications in refrigeration-related technical topics or techniques are a plus.
- Requires 1 to 5 trips per year for training and seminars.
