The Clinical Applications Specialist/Trainer (CAS) is the facilitator between the customer, the project installation team and the technical services department. This position facilitates the technical aspects of the Beacon solution provided to the Customer and will conduct Customer Needs Assessments, Track Project Status, and Train End Users. This entails being the Technical Service Team member on projects assigned from the pre-sale needs assessment to the implementation and training to the on-going use of the solution. A professional nursing degree of RN or higher is required for this position along with 8 years of Med Surge or ICU experience.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for any and all System Needs responsibilities on the project
- Schedule and conduct Needs Meetings
- Needs Assessment / Programming Documentation
- Other Documentation as required
- Responsible for any and all Training responsibilities on the project
- Develop/Coordinate all Training handouts
- Develop/Coordinate End User Training Manual
- Develop/Conduct End User Training Sessions
- Other Documentation as required
- Serve as the primary point of contact for The Technical Services team regarding system functionality specific to each project
- Work with the Project Manager to obtain schedule and milestone dates for the project and work to meet those dates. Demonstrate ability to accomplish assigned tasks on schedule.
- Send weekly progress updates to Project Manager for each project
- Next steps on projects
- Pending issues
- Training / Concerns / Schedules
Work Environment:
- Work environment can be an office environment, medical facility, educational facility, or a customer site under construction, renovation or warehouse space
- Job sites will have a variety of environmental factors including but not limited to noise, dust, and temperature changes
- Employee must have capability to transfer job sites as necessary
Job Type: Full-time
Experience:
- ICU or Med Surge: 6 years (Preferred)
License:
- RN (Preferred)
