Job Summary
Assist with the delivery of athletic health care of Men's and Women's Track and Field teams. Provide service care given of emergency needs of student-athletes, provide immediate Rx rehabilitation for patients, provide supervision of returning student-athlete to athletic activity, and provide appropriate documentation of care. Work with coaches of the respective assigned sports, provide the day to day liaison between physicians and sport coaches. Maintain appropriate medical records for student-athletes.

Required:
  • Master's degree.
  • Bachelor's degree from CAAHEP accredited athletic training education program.
  • NATA-BOC certification and Indiana Athletic Training License or Indiana Physical Therapy License .
  • Two years experience in Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy and/or Athletic Training (Graduate Assistant Experience will be considered full experience).
  • Physical ability to demonstrate all exercises to patients, assume positions to stretch patients and stamina to work on his or her feet for approximately eight hours a day.
  • Ability to lift and carry 25 to 50 lbs. frequently, and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
  • Excellent (oral and written) communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills and capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and travel.
  • Ability to communicate and adhere to University, Big Ten Conference and NCAA policies, procedures, rules ‎and regulations.

Preferred:
  • Intercollegiate Athletic work experience.
