Make a positive difference in the lives of families through Parents as Teachers (PAT), a national evidence-based program that promotes the early development, learning and health of young children. Parent Educators use a strengths-based approach to provide comprehensive early childhood development, parent education services, and family support using a home visiting model. Ozaukee Family Services provides Parents as Teachers programming free of charge to Ozaukee County families with child(ren) ages prenatal through kindergarten entry.

This position may be combined with our Parenting Education and Support (PEAS) Coordinator postingif the candidate has the right qualifications for both positions.

A strong knowledge of child development as well as the ability to engage with families are key qualifications for this position. Training is provided for this 24 hour/week job with flexible hours. Bachelor’s degree in child development, human services, or a related field and experience working to empower children and families preferred.
