Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering - Alabama A&M University Job Opening

Summary:

This position is a 9-month faculty appointment in the department of Electrical Engineering. The rank and tenure-status of the position is negotiable based on qualifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate/graduate courses.
Advise students.
Perform laboratory development and research.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Position Requirements (including years of experience, certifications, licenses, etc.):

BS and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from ABET accredited electrical engineering program.
Must have the ability to teach a wide spectrum of electrical engineering including power systems, power electronics, and digital control.
Must have the ability to establish a vigorous externally funded research program.
Must establish a vigorous externally funded research program.

Ability to secure external funding

Excellent record of productive research publications
