• Tuscaloosa, AlabamaThe Department of Biological Sciences at The University of Alabama seeks an instructor for a 9-month non-tenure track position. The appointment will be on a three-year renewable contract, subject to annual review, with opportunities for teaching additional courses during summer semesters. The successful applicant will teach Introductory Non-Majors Biology and Anatomy and Physiology lectures and expand the department’s online course offerings in these areas. Other teaching duties associated with Introductory Non-Majors Biology and Anatomy and Physiology courses may be required. In addition, the position includes an expectation of participation in academic advising of Biology majors. Applicants must hold a minimum of an M.S. degree in Biology or related disciplines and have at least 1 year of teaching experience.
