ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR

This position serves as a member of the Admissions team and is primarily responsible for recruiting undergraduate students to achieve annual enrollment goals. This position reports the Director of Admissions.

Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree with 1- year of experience in a university setting

· Preferred: Master’s degree with 2 or more years of experience
in a university setting

Knowledge and Skills

· Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups of people.

· Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively solve problems and initiate and implement projects independently.

· Skill in effective communication and public presentations.

· Knowledge of issues pertaining to areas of assignment.

· Ability to travel and work a varied schedule with flexible hours.

· Ability to represent the university and the office in a professional manner.

· Maintain a positive attitude that will promote a health cultural climate in the Admissions Office.

· Ability to learn computer programs related to enrollment management.

· Must have own car and a valid driver’s license.
