Community Educator Job Opening

Ready to change lives (including your own)? Creston Dental, an organization with a strong mission to provide quality dental care to underserved families, is seeking a Community Health Educator. The Community Health Educator (CHE) is responsible for leading the organization's outreach efforts to promote oral health education in the community. The CHE serves as a liaison between families in need and social service, educational, local leaders and health service providers while delivering the organization's mission.

The basics:

• Educate the community on the need for oral healthcare by attending community events presentations, screenings, and other activities
• Promote awareness of oral health issues by the developing and cultivating relationships with community agencies, school systems, healthcare disciplines, and nonprofit organizations
• Develop and cultivate relationships with key community leaders as well as government officials
• Assist in public relations activities, including grand openings and family fun days at the office
